Getting around

Juan Santamaria´s International Airport is only 30 minutes away from our facilities, and most hotels are located within a 6 mile radius. Most hotels offer ground transportation between the Airport and the Hotel, and Uber is available for ground transportation while in the country.

Costa Rica is such a small country that allows you to plan for some vacations before or after your dental treatment, as beaches are 2 hours away from the city, and National Parks with active volcanoes can be accessed within an hour driving.

Direct flights from the US to Costa Rica are available on a daily basis, leaving from some major airports such as Miami, New York, Charlotte, Atlanta, Houston, Dallas, and Los Angeles.

US Citizens travelling to Costa Rica only require a valid passport with at least 6 months before its expiration date; US driver license allows you to rent a car in the country - credit card might be required for deposit purposes.

When coming to Costa Rica Dental Smile, we highly recommend staying in hotels in Heredia, given their proximity to our premises, so you can avoid traffic at the most.
